Just want to let you know that we are really enjoying the water from our RainSoft system.  The thing we notice most on an ongoing basis is the taste and appearance.  Once you have RainSoft in your house, you kind of take if for granted that a glass of water from the tap will be sparkling clear, at a friends house, you notice things you just didn’t notice before - I’ve even been known to turn my glass of water back in and request a different beverage. The other night, we were at school for a dance and my husband brought me a cup of water from the water fountain (our only beverage option).  I immediately noticed that I could not see to the bottom of the cup.  We’ve been to that location many times in the past 3 years - undoubtedly I couldn’t see to the bottom of my water cup then either, but I never noticed it before.

We also noticed that, within days of installation of the system, the rusty rings in our toilets were gone, along with that persistent, unpleasant odor that would emanate from our bathroom toilet despite all cleaning efforts. Using the same soap and no jet-dry, our dishwasher produces cleaner-looking dishes with few water spots. 

I also noticed a difference in my hair. I have very long hair, which I was washing every day.  I had been using a heavy amount of conditioner to detangle it, and then would be disgusted that it appeared somewhat greasy by the end of the day, especially if I had to recomb it. Now, I still used a small amount of conditioner each day, but my hair is so much more manageable that I can wear down instead of in its traditional braid, and can recomb it without any greasy impact. I spend a lot of time and effort on my hair, so the manageability change is a real plus for me.

We have been using the “RainSoft Water Treatment System” for more than four years.  We originally purchased the product because we were expecting our first children (twins) and we wanted to assure that the water quality in our home was healthy. We also believed that a water filtration system would prevent deterioration to the boiler and plumbing of the whole house.  We have continued to use and enjoy the system as our children have grown.  We especially enjoy the extra faucet attached to the kitchen sink which allows us to have a special “drinking fountain” (a favorite of our children)

 

Owning this system was of particular importance to us this year.  This past summer hurricane Floyd and several other hurricanes and tropical storms caused tremendous devastation.  Many people in the US including communities nearby to us experienced flooding and resulting sanitation problems.  Many municipalities could not adequately purify the overwhelming volume of tainted water.  In spite of this, our RainSoft treated water consistently remained safe.

I’m writing this customer testimonial to you to thank you and your staff for furthering my education on the low standards of water quality in New Castle County De at this time. I have worked for the Delaware Audubon Society over the last 10 years and have had ample opportunity to study Delaware’s fragile ecosystem, including the nature of the water flowing throughout the state.

 

Historically speaking, the Delaware River and its’ subsequent commercial ports have supported a tremendous amount of petrochemical activities, the abuse of which has lead to serious water quality issues.  The Delaware River, over the past 40-50 years, has served as a chemical waste dump. So much so that many species of fish like shad had either left the river or perished in it.  Delaware, New Jersey, and PA have taken tremendous strides in cleaning up the river over the past 10 years, resulting in the re-introduction of fish species that heretofore were missing from this vital ecosystem.

 

This naturally leads one to worry about the quality of both aquifer-based well water and treated water here in Delaware.  I have known for quite some time that the EPA considered Delaware’s water to be second or third worst in the country behind parts of New York City and Philly.  Any source of drinking water here in Delaware must be purified at the pump so to- speak, and your system is a great system of removing the chemicals/metals from the water.  I have trouble understanding why anybody in their right mind would not look to install a system like this in the home.  In Fact, Im puzzled as to why systems like this aren’t a natural part of any new home construction plans here in Delaware.

Brian and I are writing to you today to express our sincere thanks for our water system.  As most people in the area know Delaware’s water is terrible.  I had no idea that a total solution was available

 

Since our system was installed my skin has gotten much softer.  In the winter I normally have very dry skin.  Even the best lotions and moisturizing body wash together can’t completely alleviate the problem from October through March.

 

From the moment I took my first shower with our new water I could see the difference in my skin.  It’s so soft I don’t need lotion.  There’s no doubt that this winter my elbows and legs will continue to be smooth and I’ll be able to concentrate on the finer things in life!

We recently had a RainSoft Water Treatment System installed in our home.  We are satisfied with the performance of the system.  The Water tastes much better and it is softer on the skin while showering.  It is nice to know that the water we drink and use in our home each day is clean and soft. Although the system was quite expensive, we feel it was worth the money to get a top of the line system that will last us a lifetime.

Overall, we like the system and would recommend it to those who need or desire clean, soft water
